Make Use Of Your Resources

I know it seems obvious. And yet...

We have all been there. We have that dreaded feeling of being trapped or stuck. We try all kinds of things to get unstuck. No one is immune to being stuck. It happens to everyone.

And it seems that everyone with a YouTube channel or a social media account has the exact three, five, or seven step solution guaranteed to get you unstuck.

But, and this is a big but-

How many of us have bought online courses that we’ve never completed, books that we’ve never read, joined memberships or communities that we quickly forget to log into? I’m guilty of all those.

Why do we do it? Even worse, we sometimes complete the courses and read the books and nothing changes. Why? Because we don’t take any action. We know we should be doing something like acting on the advice we get from those sources. Others act on it and have successes.

The Untold Part Of Her Story

A few weeks ago I saw a woman on YouTube who paid ten thousand dollars for a certification course to be a business coach. I’m familiar with the program. It’s a well respected program that hundreds of people have had success with. But she was complaining that after finishing the courses she didn’t make the money that they were claiming she could make.

She wasn’t making use of her resources. She apparently forgot that she needed to market her business to get clients. Other people getting that certification were building multiple six figure incomes.

It wasn’t the course or the company that sold it to her that was at fault. She did not utilize her new resource that she paid ten thousand dollars for. The resource that also included an amazing course on marketing a business.

Not My First Time

Recently we decided we needed to change something in our business. We knew exactly what we need to change but were not sure how to make it happen. Then I realized the community for coaches(Digital Mentors) that I had joined a few months ago had all the training, coaching, resources, and answers I needed to do exactly what we wanted to do with our business. I had not gone far enough into the program to find that out until last week.

So the quote from Teddy Roosevelt came to mind.

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

Those are my new instructions. Now I have to live it. Those are the simple instructions that will help you get “unstuck”. My brain didn’t even have to burn any calories to come up with that. It’s a 120+ year old quote that is as true today as it ever was.

I hope you find it useful.

Finding Financial Momentum In Land January 10, 2026 One of the greatest tools available to produce financial momentum is real estate. Most people who produce any kind of content about real estate will, about 95% of the time, talk about single family residential rental properties like it’s some kind of miracle investment. As far as real estate is concerned for the individual non-institutional investor it’s one of the worst investments available- high cost to buy and operate, high headache...

Better Safe Than Sorry? The Choices We Make January 2, 2026 Close Brush With Riches A friend of mine told me a story about his father’s close brush with real riches. My friend is in his eighties and has quite a unique life himself. But his father’s story is a unique lesson in choices. He was given a choice of two options. One option would make him well off. The other option could make him the richest man in the world. When faced with such a choice, how do you decide? It was the 1920’s. My...
